How to update your project description...

The only reason that you should ever have to add to your project description is for project description clarification or to post additional information in which service providers are frequently inquiring about. You should not abuse the system by adding additional tasks to the project description that throw the scope of the project off balance with your project's existing bids.

For example, if your project is for a fan installation and you have bids ranging between twenty and thirty dollars, do not add a new roof to your project description. Although many service providers could potentially provide such a broad range of services, it is very unlikely that any service provider would give you a new roof for thirty dollars. Note that this type of abuse is against Handy Beaver policy. We reserve the right to cancel any memberships having a history of such abuse.

NOTE: You can only update project descriptions for open projects.

1.) From your account management area, click on My Posted Projects. You should now be viewing a comprehensive listing of your open projects.

2.) Find the open project that you wish to update.

3.) Click on the project title to view the project in Buyer Project View.

4.) Click on the Add To Description button located on the Buyer Action Panel main menu.

5.) You should now be able to add additional text to the project description as well add\remove any attached photos or files.
