Defining communication preferences...

There are a number of communication preferences which you can define to control when and how buyers contact you.

1.) Login to your account management area. Click on the Preferences panel button from the main menu.

3.) There are two submenu options, For Buyers and For Service Providers. Providing that you are in fact a service provider, you should be automatically looking at the For Service Providers submenu page.

4.) The first preference is whether you want buyers to view a contact form or your contact information when ordering one of your projects from within the project marketplace. You can set it accordingly.

5.) The second preference is a PMB auto-reply message that you can setup in the event that you are out in the field working on a project or if just want a standard reply.

6.) The next section enables you to define an alternative email address in which you can receive notifications of awarded projects and new Project Marketplace orders. Many service providers utilize this feature to receive updates via their email enabled cell phones, such as a Nextel, while working on projects in the field. Check with your cell phone carrier to find out if your cell phone can receive email.
