How to determine file size and type...

Certain areas of HandyBeaver.com have restrictions on the size and type of file that you can upload. For example, you can't upload a MS Word document for your buyer profile logo. And your project files can't be any larger than 1 MB in file size. The following procedure illustrates as to how you can determine the file size and type prior to any attempt to upload the file.

1.) Locate the file on your computer.

2.) Right click on the file.

3.) Click on properties. You should then see a window that looks similar to the one shown below. Note, however, that there may be slight differences depending on your operating system.

4.) The file properties window, as depicted above, will provide with you the file's size and type. In this example, we can see that the file is a JPEG image (having file extension .jpg) and is 69.5 KB.

NOTE: 1 MB is equal to 1024 KB
