Building your buyer profile... Whether you know it or not, your buyer profile is an important aspect of your HandyBeaver.com experience. Service providers often review buyer profiles prior to placing bids on projects. They want to know who you are. Are you a home owner, a property management company, or are you outsourcing as another service provider? They also look at your feed back, how many projects you have posted, and how many projects you have awarded. Service providers take everything into account before placing a bid on your project. Your profile contributes to better quality bids. For example, if a service provider sees that you have posted 25 projects and you've awarded 23 of those projects, then that service provider may give you better pricing to earn your business. Service providers are always eager to take on new clients from whom they can gain repeat business from. 1.) Login to your account management area. 2.) Click on the Buyer Panel button to view the buyer panel. 3.) Click on the Buyer Profile button from the main menu. 4.) You can optionally upload a company logo, icon, or some other graphic to be used with your buyer identity. 5.) The next field is a text box where you can describe yourself. If you are a home owner then you might just want to describe your home, it's history, and maybe the year it was built. If you are a property management company then describe your business. 6.) You will also notice that you have the ability to update your contact information here as well. Be sure to keep this information up-to-date. |
